The schedule for performing bands is listed below.
Students will meet in the Band Room after school on Monday, September 18 (3:45pm) to load equipment and gather uniforms. There will be a uniform inspection before loading the buses and departing. We are planning on the buses to depart CBHS at 4:45pm.
ADMISSION: $10 adults, $6 students, (5 and under free) Cash, card, cash app or Apple pay accepted. Parents, spectators, and staff should park in the high school parking lot and enter the stadium from the upper gate.
BUS & EQUIPMENT TRAILERS: Equipment trucks must pull down to the lower lot near the stadium field and park near the buses. We will need to unload and stage all front ensemble equipment and props in the side two endzone.
Large instruments (drums/sousas) can be left on the back sideline until it's time for us to perform. Smaller instruments should go with the students into the stands, and pit equipment will be staged along the front sideline as it is unloaded.
DINNER:
Our dinner plan is for the students to purchase items from the concession stands and eat in the stands. FBHS Band Concessions include drinks, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, pizza, fries, Chick Fil A sandwiches, nachos, candy and chips. Additional Food Vendors: Taquizas Estrada taco truck, and Frozen Frenzee snow cones.
AFTER THE EXHIBITION:
We will treat this event like it is an "Away game." Therefore, if students are going to ride home with their parents following the exhibition, we need to have letter documentation before departure from Cherokee Bluff. Parents must check in with Mr. Cantrell or Mr. Lonberger before leaving.
School buses will be bringing students back to Cherokee Bluff at 9:15pm. Students should call/text parents once we depart Flowery Branch HS.
