CHEROKEE BLUFF BAND ASSOCIATION
7380 Spout Springs Road, STE 210-218
Flowery Branch, GA 30542
The Cherokee Bluff Band Association, Inc. will be the non-profit, volunteer parent organization that supports and provides assistance to the wonderful Cherokee Bluff Band program. Our purpose will include:
We Need You!
The Cherokee Bluff Band Association provides crucial financial and other assistance to the band. While the Hall County School system provides some financial support to the band program, the full support of the Band Association is needed to establish and maintain the caliber of program that we will expect for our community. Even if your time is limited, there are numerous ways in which you can help make the Cherokee Bluff Band program better. Your talents and abilities are needed. There are plenty of projects for everyone who wants to be involved. The more involved you are, the more you experience the benefits that your student enjoys as part of the band. Don't wait to be asked: volunteer where you see you are needed. If you want to be involved but don't see a job to be done, ask for ideas, there are plenty to go around.
If you would like to become an active participant in the many committees, please contact any of the CBBA officers. We need your great ideas and enthusiastic support for the outstanding students and director of the Cherokee Bluff High School Band!

The CBBA meets twice a month. The second (or third) Tuesday of every month is our General Membership meeting starting at 7pm and the first Tuesday of every month is the Executive Board meetings, which is a closed meeting for the executive leadership team. The purpose of each meeting is to conduct the business of the association and to communicate and discuss issues and upcoming events affecting the band program. The general membership meetings last about an hour, while the executive leadership meetings tend to be longer. These meetings afford all members the opportunity to have their voice heard and to shape and direct the future of the band program.
With extremely limited funding from Hall County Schools, and the many demands on our faculty and professional staff, the program can not operate successful without an active and supportive band parent association. A parent association can not perform without the dedicated efforts and commitment of every family involved in the program. The CBBA is YOUR organization and through it, you can directly affect the quality of your family’s band experience.

Fans Program
Although the Cherokee Bluff District is known as an affluent area, there are, at any given time, members of the band community whose family members have lost jobs or loved ones and are struggling to make ends meet. As a result of these financial hardships, there are always a few families that cannot meet the full financial burden of band membership. The result is either a high student account balance with undue stress or declining participation in the band due to financial hardship.
In order to address the issue, the CBBA established the Financial Assistance for Needy Students (FANS) Fund. This fund will be set up to specifically address those situations where members cannot meet the full financial obligations of band membership.
We ask that our fellow band families, alumni, and friends of the band consider donating any amount possible to make the rewards of Cherokee Bluff Band membership available for all. Thank you for helping us make the amazing opportunities through membership in Cherokee Bluff Bands possible for all students. We’ve included more details about this program for you at the bottom of this page.
