EXECUTIVE BOARD

Executive Board: (to serve for 2020-2021)
  • President - Joseph Slick (president@cherokeebluffband.com)
  • 1st Vice President - Stacy Loverde (1vp@cherokeebluffband.com)
  • 2nd Vice President - Erin Barnes (2vp@cherokeebluffband.com)
  • Treasurer - Pam Furry (treasurer@cherokeebluffband.com)
  • Secretary - Stephanie McFarland (secretary@cherokeebluffband.com)
The CBBA meets twice a month.  The second (or third) Tuesday of every month is our General Membership meeting starting at 7pm and the first Tuesday of every month is the Executive Board meetings, which is a closed meeting for the executive leadership team.  The purpose of each meeting is to conduct the business of the association and to communicate and discuss issues and upcoming events affecting the band program.  The general membership meetings last about an hour, while the executive leadership meetings tend to be longer.  These meetings afford all members the opportunity to have their voice heard and to shape and direct the future of the band program.

With extremely limited funding from Hall County Schools, and the many demands on our faculty and professional staff, the program can not operate successful without an active and supportive band parent association.  A parent association can not perform without the dedicated efforts and commitment of every family involved in the program.  The CBBA is YOUR organization and through it, you can directly affect the quality of your family’s band experience.
