12:00noon Students report to the Bandroom
- You should have already eaten lunch!
- Retrieve Uniform/Gather Equipment.
- Winds & Percussion should wear shoes, bibbers, T-Shirt, and Ball Caps.
- Guard should wear warm-ups and shoes.
12:05pm Students Line-up outside Bandroom and March to Athletic Field for a short "run-through" rehearsal.
- This will be the final opportunity to improve before the real thing; make the most of this short time.
1:30pm Load Buses & Depart for Fannin Co. High School
360 Rebels Circle
Blue Ridge, GA 30513
*Make sure you have used the restroom. We cannot stop during travel.
3:30pm Upon arrival to Fannin Co. High School
- Visit concession stands and restrooms.
- Watch a few bands. Be sure to be a great audience, but be mindful of your time - Don't be late getting back to the buses.
4:45pm Report back to the buses
- Retrieve band jackets and instruments. Large instruments & percussion will retrieve instruments from the equipment trailer.
- Guard will need to retrieve all equipment (flags, rifles, etc.). DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND!
- Line up and walk over to the warm-up areas.
- Please move quickly and quietly and pay extra attention during this critical time.
5:05pm Warm-up
-We warm-up in "Area B" for 50 minutes. Make the most out of this short time, but do not "over-do" anything.
6:10pm COMPETITION PERFORMANCE
TBA We will march off the field and sit together in the stands - just as though we were at a football game in our stands formation. We will watch two (2) other bands. Remember to be a great audience.
TBA Leadership Team will need to gather for Award Retreat following the Mercer University Band performance.
You will need to be in FULL UNIFORM.
9:00pm Awards Ceremony
10:15pm Load Buses & Depart for Cherokee Bluff (make sure you use the restroom before we leave!)
12:00am Arrive back at Cherokee Bluff!
