Thank you for your interest in the Cherokee Bluff High School Color Guard. Please take time to read through the instructions below. Also, be sure you complete the Guard Audition Information 2020 and your parent/guardian look at the Color Guard Guidelines, as well as the Color Guard Handbook for more information regarding important dates, payments, and member expectations.
Due to the “Shelter In Place” mandates and the Digital Learning Days, we are conducting virtual auditions this year. We understand that not everybody has a flag at home so will be focusing on dance for this year’s auditions.
Below are three videos. The first one is a stretching video. Please make sure you take time to warm up your joints and muscles before you attempt any of the dance routine. The second video is a step-by-step walk through of the dance audition you are expected to learn and the final video is the full dance put to music. The music the dance is choreographed to is “Stupid Love” by Lady Gaga the dance starts about 55 seconds into the music.
What to wear in your video:
Please wear a white or a gray t-shirt and black or navy shorts or leggings. If you are outside make sure you have on tennis shoes . No Jeans and no open toe shoes. Please make sure your hair is pulled back away from your face in a bun or ponytail.
