Winterguard Competition No. 2: Denmark High School

Competition itinerary:
Call Time (CBHS Band Room): 7:45 AM
Depart from CBHS: 8:30 AM
Arrival at Denmark HS: 9:30 AM
Check-In: 9:45 AM
Performance Time: 11:15 AM
Retreat (Awards): 2:44 PM
Depart from Denmark HS: Approximately 8:40 PM (following afternoon retreat)
Arrival back to CBHS: TBD (We will post our eta on the Cherokee bluff Facebook page)
This weekend we are leaving after the last retreat of the day since we noticed many of the girls took great interest in watching other schools’ shows and we would love for them to see the advanced and professional groups perform later that evening. If your student would like to leave after our retreat, be sure to follow our check out policy below.
Early Checkout Policy
If a student wishes to leave early and ride home with a parent (not a friend), the following steps must be followed:
Written documentation is required (note or email) and must include a cell phone number.
At the conclusion of the event, the parent must meet either Nelly or Sierra in person to officially check the student out.
Please note that we are following the same checkout procedures used during marching band season
Concessions & Lunch
Since we will be at the competition site during lunchtime & dinner, students will need to bring their money, as well as any additional funds if they would like to purchase items from the concessions or merchandise booths.
Please plan accordingly:
Students should bring cash and/or a card
We have not been informed what forms of payment Denmark High School will accept
Chaperone tickets:
We have approximately 2 extra tickets for anyone who is interested in chaperoning. If you are interested in chaperoning please respond to this email as soon as possible.
Uniform, Packing List, Hair & Makeup Information:
Same as last week, please ensure we have ALL costume pieces (leotard, tutu, body tights, proper undergarments, easy slip-on shoes, and all necessary makeup and hair products)
• A full packing list document will be sent again to the girls on GroupMe
