Here is the long-awaited information for SAPA this weekend! We are so excited to head to Chattanooga and compete for the final time this season. The students have worked incredibly hard, and we are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished leading up to this moment.
 
This will be a lengthy email, but it includes all the important details for the weekend. We kindly ask that you and your student read through the entire email so we can all enjoy a smooth, exciting, and successful weekend!
 
THIS WEEK'S REMINDERS
Before we get to SAPA information, here is everything you need to know for this week’s rehearsals and our Family & Friends Show:
 
Rehearsal Schedule:
* Tuesday: 6:00 PM – end of Family & Friends Show
* Thursday: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
 
* On Tuesday March 24th, students must arrive in full show hair and makeup. They also need to bring all costume pieces to change into before the performance.
 
Family & Friends Show:
  * Date: March 24th
  * Time: 7:30 PM
  * Location: CBHS Small Gym (our rehearsal space)
  * We ask that all guests remain seated during the performance
  * The event will last approximately 15 - 20 minutes
  * Students will be released following their performance and the ending meeting with Nelly and Sierra
 
* On Thursday, April 26th, we ask for patience during pickup as we will be loading all equipment and props into the trailer for departure the next day. We will try our best to have students out as soon as possible!
 
SAPA Chattanooga
We are so excited for SAPA and our upcoming trip to Chattanooga! Below is all the important information to help you prepare. Please read through everything carefully so we can have a smooth and stress-free weekend.

* Students have been excused from school the whole day on Friday March 27th! Students are more than welcome to arrive at school at call-time or students can also arrive at the beginning of school and bring in their personal belongings and place them in the guard room before school. 
 
* We ask students and parents to communicate with us if their student will be arriving at the beginning of the school day so we can email teachers to let them know when students should be released from class

* Call time: 10:30 AM (We will send out an email once we get an approved location, since school will be in progress)

* Buc-ee’s lunch stop: 1:10 PM
* Hotel check-in: 3:00 PM
* Get ready: 3:00–3:50 PM
* Depart for arena: 4:00 PM
* Check-in: 4:30 PM
* Mental run: 5:30 PM
* Body warm-up: 6:16 PM
* Equipment warm-up: 6:25 PM
* Performance: 6:41 PM
* Watch performances: 7:00–9:15 PM
* Change for retreat: 9:25 PM
* Retreat: 9:45 PM
* Group photos
* Depart arena: 11:00 PM

BANQUET DRESS CODE
* Dresses, skirts, or dress pants (no ripped jeans)
* Dressy tops
* Heels, flats, or dress shoes
* Keep it appropriate and comfortable
*All attire must be school-appropriate.*
 
WHAT TO PACK
Essentials:
* Full performance uniform
* Hair & makeup supplies
* Comfortable clothes
* Banquet outfit
* Pajamas & toiletries
* Chargers
* Medications (must be communicated with Nelly or Sierra before thursday)
**Extras:**
* Blanket/pillow
* Snacks & drinks
* Spending money
 
ADDITIONAL PACKING NOTES
* Label all items
* Keep performance items organized
* Bring a small arena bag
* Avoid valuables
* A detailed packing list will be sent to students as soon as possible 
MONEY / BUDGET
Here’s a general idea for spending money:
  • Breakfast: Provided by hotel for both 3/28 & 3/29
  • Friday Lunch: Buc-ee’s stop (students should plan to purchase lunch) $20-25 
  • Friday Dinner: Stadium food or quick stop after (depending on preference) $20-25
  • Saturday Lunch: Stadium food $15-20
  • Banquet Dinner: Provided
  • Merchandise/souvenirs: $20–50 (optional) 
 
Recommended total: EST. $100, -depending- on personal preference, please plan accordingly for your student.
