                                               - We will watch video and discuss the performance opportunities.
                                               - This will be the final opportunity to improve before the real thing; make the most of this short time.

1:45PM                   Load Buses & Depart for Collins High High School (address above
).
                                               - Make sure you have used the restroom.  We cannot stop during travel.

2:30PM                     Upon arrival to Collins High High School
                                               - Students should remain on the bus until they are called by Mr. Cantrell.
                                               - Once we unload the bus, make sure you go to the restroom.
                                               - You may watch a few bands, but be mindful of your time.

4:30PM                     Report back to buses
                                               - Retrieve band uniforms and instruments.  Large instruments and percussion will retrieve instruments from                                                    the equipment truck.
                                               - Guard will need to retrieve all equipment (flags, rifles, costumes, etc.).  DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND.
                                               - Line up and walk over to warm-up areas.  Please move quickly and quietly and pay extra attention during                                                        this critical time.

5:10PM                     Warm-Up
                                               - We warm-up in "Band Field" for 50 minutes. Make the most out of this short time, but do not "over do"                                                          anything.

5:50PM                     COMPETITION PERFORMANCE

TBA                           We will march off the field and go back to the buses/equipment truck to put up all equipment.  Students will                                                  change out of uniforms (Captains and Drum Major will need uniforms for awards ceremony).  After we put away                                            all equipment, we will move together as a group back to the stadium to watch other bands perform.  We will all sit                                        together in the stands.

8:15PM                     Drum Major & Captains will need to gather for the Awards Retreat following the Collins Hill performance.  You                                                will need to be in FULL UNIFORM.

8:30PM                     Awards Ceremony

9:30PM                   Load Buses & Depart for CBHS (make sure you use the restroom before we leave!)

10:15PM                   Arrive Back at CBHS - all members are dismissed once we have unloaded all equipment from the equipment truck.

Our plan for dinner is that the students will purchase items from the concession stands and eat in the stands.  Students will need spending money for concessions.

We will treat this event like it is an “Away Game”, therefore, if students are going to ride home with parents following the competition, we need to have a letter documentation prior to departure of Cherokee Bluff and the parent will need to check-in with Mr. Cantrell or Mr. Lonberger before leaving.

School buses will be bringing students back to Cherokee Bluff around 10:15pm.  Students should call/text parents once we depart the competition. We will also announce our arrival time upon departure via the CBBA Facebook Page.

Should you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact Mr. Cantrell ([email protected]).
