10:30AM Load Buses & Depart for Bowdon High School (504 W College St., Bowdon, GA 30108).
- Make sure you have used the restroom. We cannot stop during travel.
1:15PM Upon arrival to Bowdon High School

- We will have lunch as a group (that has already been pre-ordered*) in their gym.
- After lunch, make sure you go to the restroom. You may watch a few bands, but be mindful of your time.
3:15PM Report back to buses

- Guard will need to retrieve all equipment (flags, rifles, costumes, etc.). DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND.
- Line up and walk over to warm-up areas. Please move quickly and quietly and pay extra attention during this critical time.
3:25PM Warm-Up
- We warm-up in "Area 1" for 35 minutes. Make the most out of this short time, but do not "over do" anything.
4:40PM COMPETITION PERFORMANCE
TBA We will march off the field and go back to the buses/equipment truck to put up all equipment. Students will change out of uniforms (Captains and Drum Major will need uniforms for awards ceremony). After we put away all equipment, we will move together as a group back to the stadium to watch other bands perform. We will all sit together in the stands.
9:00PM Drum Major & Captains will need to gather for the Awards Retreat following the Bowdon High School Band performance. You will need to be in FULL UNIFORM.
9:10PM Awards Ceremony
9:45PM Load Buses & Depart for CBHS (make sure you use the restroom before we leave!)
12:00AM Arrive Back at CBHS - all members are dismissed once we have unloaded all equipment from the equipment truck.
Our plan for dinner is that the students will purchase items from the concession stands and eat in the stands. Students will need spending money for concessions.
We will treat this event like it is an “Away Game”, therefore, if students are going to ride home with parents following the competition, we need to have a letter documentation prior to departure of Cherokee Bluff and the parent will need to check-in with Mr. Cantrell or Mr. Lonberger before leaving.
School buses will be bringing students back to Cherokee Bluff around midnight. Students should call/text parents once we depart the competition.
Should you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact Mr. Cantrell (craig.cantrell@hallco.org).
