This schedule has been adjusted and revamped due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic.  Thank you for your understanding.

Drum Camp is voluntary.  Any student or teacher that feels ill should not attend rehearsal.

Schedule:
Monday:
*All Front Ensemble/Pit Students and Rising 8th & 9th graders (9:00am - 12noon)
*All Drumline/Batterie Percussion (2:00pm - 5:00pm)

Tuesday - Friday:

*Mallet instruments & Snares/Tenor Drums (2:00pm - 5:00pm)

Please contact Alan Marcha (770) 448-4225 if you are unsure when to come to camp.

Students will need to be dropped off at the exterior high school band room entrance (near main gym).

Upon entrance, students will be screened prior to each daily session utilizing the Hall Co. Schools Activity Infectious Disease Plan.  Screening includes a temperature check (touchless) and documentation of the following questions:
Do you or have you had a fever in the last week?
Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19?
Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19?
Have you traveled to a “hot spot” for COVID-19?

If a student answers “Yes” to any of these questions and/or does not pass the temperature screening, the student will not be allowed to attend rehearsal.  For more information regarding screening, contact Mr. Kenny Hill (Athletic Director, CBHS).

Social distancing will be adhered to at all times.

Each session will be taking place indoors (HS Band Room, HS Chorus Room, MS Band Room).  These are large, well-ventilated areas that have been approved.

What to Bring (All of these are required of every member)
  • Light colored, loose fitting clothing (NO JEANS or other long pants)
  • Comfortable shoes (No flip flops or sandals)
  • Large Water Jug/Cooler.   WATER is a must.  NO SODA.
  • Drink plenty of water before arrival.

We will not be serving any lunches.  Please come to camp well-nourished.  Students can bring their own snacks.

Goals:
  • Establish a foundation of teamwork between students and staff.
  • Launch solid fundamentals of body, flag, and visual technique.
  • Begin working through the 2020 production.

Per GHSA and Hall Co. Schools Guidelines, no visitors will be permitted to attend these rehearsals during this time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Alan Marcha (770) 448-4225.
